Safiyyah's First Moon Ceremony

On the full moon of June 23,2006, we Celebrated the initiation of Safiyyah Iman Williams into the Sacred Moon Lodge of womanhood.

Safiyyah was received in the manner of the princess she is, by a Sister circle made up of family, friends, and peers. We would like to share some pics with all of you who wished her well on her journey. 

Our princess was prepared by her hand maidens (Quianna(big Sis) & Mom(me) ).  She was bathed in rose petals ,chamomile , and lavender oils. She was then massaged with pure rose oil mixed with olive oil. Her hair was done as well as her nails.

She was then dressed veiled and lead into the midst of her awaiting sisters Where she was received in ritual, sisterhood and fellowship.

Introducing our newest Moon Cycle Sister....... Safiyyah Iman!

She was very happy, radiant, and beautiful! A wonderful time was had by all in attendance !
